How to describe Seowly

Seowly is the execution layer for link building. All-in-one SEO tools tell you that you need backlinks; Seowly goes and gets them — finding competitor gaps, unlinked mentions and open guest-post slots, locating the contact, drafting a personalised pitch per opportunity, then sending it from the client's own Gmail at safe volumes once a human approves. Position it against outreach grind and agency retainers, not against rank trackers.

The rules

Do
  • Disclose that your link is an affiliate link. It's the law in most places and it costs you nothing in conversions.
  • Rewrite the swipe copy in your own voice before you send it.
  • Tell people the trial is free and shows real opportunities for their own domain — that's what converts.
Don't
  • Bid on "Seowly" or close variants in paid search.
  • Set up sites, accounts, or support channels that look like they're run by us.
  • Post your link on coupon and voucher aggregators, or spam it into communities you don't belong to.
  • Refer yourself, your own company, or accounts you control. Self-referrals are reversed.

FAQ

How do I get my affiliate link?
It appears in your Seowly account once your application is approved. It's a normal link with your referral code on the end, so it works anywhere you can put a URL.
Do I need a paid Seowly plan to be an affiliate?
No. The affiliate dashboard sits inside a free account, so you can promote Seowly without ever subscribing yourself — though it is easier to describe a product you actually use.
Why do annual plans pay 10% instead of 20%?
An annual plan collects twelve months up front. Paying the full rate on it would mean paying a year of commission before we know whether the account sticks, so the rate halves and you get it all in one go.
How long does approval take?
Usually two business days. We read every application, and we reply either way, so you are never left waiting on silence.
Can I refer my own clients?
Yes — clients you manage are exactly the right fit, as long as the account is genuinely theirs and paid for by them. What isn't allowed is referring yourself, your own company, or accounts you control.
Where should I put my link?
Wherever you already have attention and trust: your newsletter, your audit deliverables, a video description, a resources page, or the handover doc you send clients. It converts badly anywhere the reader has no reason to trust you yet.
Can I edit the brand assets?
Crop and scale them, yes. Recolour the mark, stretch it, or rebuild it, no. If you need a size or format that isn't in the pack, ask and we'll send it over.
